Upcoming Grants in Greece
Attica – Digital Transformation and Innovation Programs
Two new grant programs are expected for businesses in the Region of Attica. The first will support business adaptation through digital transformation, while the second will promote cooperation between public and private bodies for the development of innovative products and services. Potential beneficiaries include SMEs, start-ups, business partnerships, universities, research organisations and innovation clusters.
Patent Fund
The Patent Fund is expected to be activated by the Hellenic Development Bank. With a total budget of €41.4 million, it will support Greek SMEs in registering and protecting patents. The program aims to help businesses safeguard innovative products and services and strengthen their competitiveness in Greek and international markets.
SME Adaptation Plans
This upcoming program will support SMEs with at least two completed financial years and 20–50 employees. Eligible sectors are expected to include most business activities, excluding the primary sector. Funding will support consulting services, staff training, certification of learning outcomes, payroll costs for newly hired employees and other adaptation actions.
